  Dr. Eric Smith did my Lasik Surgery in March of 2012. My previous prescription left me blind without glasses or contacts, so the prospect of seeing without them was exciting. Dr. Smith's entire staff was fantastic. They were professional and personable. My wait times were short and I had no problem getting an appointment. Dr. Smith is a fantastic guy and truly knows his trade. He explained the surgery, its risks and its benefits. He explained the different between wavefront lasik (the kind they do at his practice) and the other kind. By time time my consultation appointment was over, I was much more knowledgable about the surgery and was excited to have Dr. Smith and his staff do it. The surgery itself was a major success. I was in the operating room for no more than 10 minutes. I could immediately see a difference. I was able to read signs on the other side of the room. My recovery was quick and by the second day, I was seeing 20/15 in my right eye and 20/20 in my left. At my 2 week appointment, I was 20/10 in both eyes. With my contacts, I was 20/40. If you're thinking about Lasik, give Dr. Smith a try. The consultation is free and no-pressure. It's the best decision I've made in a very long time.
